The school year is a nine month program starting in late August or early September and ending in May. Optional summer programs begin in both June and July. Parents may choose one or both of the summer programs.
Programs are established to serve the needs of children 2 through 5 years of age. Five year olds attend a transition class, preparing them for kindergarten.
The extended day option provides the opportunity for a longer school day. Children may extend their day to 1PM, 2PM, or 3PM. This choice may be for one day a week, every day, or any combination in between. Extended day can also be provided as an occasional afternoon extension.
